Audio & video quality
You can now change the audio and video quality, which means you can stream and download songs, videos, and podcasts at the highest quality on mobile apps with songs and podcasts streaming at up to 256 kbs and videos up to 1080p full HD (4K on iOS).
You can change the quality by following the steps below:
On iOS:
- Under My Music, tap on Settings
. - Tap on Playback and select your preferred quality.
On Android:
- Under My Music, tap on Settings .
- Tap on AUDIO & VIDEO QUALITY and select your preferred quality.
On Desktop:
- Click on your profile on the top right.
- Click on Preferences.
- Select Playback.
- Select your preferred quality.
Auto Normalize Audio
Finally, with "Auto Normalize Audio", the volume level of music will be the same for each song. This is turned on by default, but you can customize this option.
You can customize Auto Normalize Audio by following the steps below:
On iOS:
- Under My Music, tap on Settings .
- Tap on Playback.
- Select your preferred volume level.
Note: Tap the Auto Normalize Audio switch to turn on 
or off
