Normalize volume

Normalize volume balances the volume between songs, so you don’t have to adjust it every time a new song starts.

It’s turned on by default, but you can turn it off or change the overall volume level.

Volume levels

• Loud: Raises the overall volume. Best for noisy environments.
• Normal: The default level.
• Quiet: Lowers the overall volume. Best for quieter environments.

Mobile

1. Open My Music.
2. Tap Settings in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Playback.
4. Turn Normalize Volume on or off.
5. Select Loud, Normal, or Quiet.

Website and Desktop

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Playback.
3. Turn Normalize Volume on or off.
4. Select Loud, Normal, or Quiet.
