Audio & video quality
You can now change the audio and video quality, which means you can stream and download songs, videos, and podcasts at the highest quality on mobile apps with songs and podcasts streaming at up to 256 kbs and videos up to 1080p full HD (4K on iOS).
You can change the quality by following the steps below:
On iOS:
- Under My Music, tap on Settings
- Tap on Content & Quality
- Select your preferred quality for audio and video
On Android:
- Under My Music, tap on Settings
- Tap on AUDIO & VIDEO QUALITY and select your preferred quality
On Desktop:
- Click on your profile on the top right.
- Click on Preferences.
- Select Playback.
- Select your preferred quality.
