Tell RJ what you want to hear and let AI find music around your idea. On iOS, you can use Ask for Music from Home or Create an AI Playlist from My Music.
Say what you want to hear
Type your request, or tap the microphone and say it naturally.
Ask for a mood, activity, artist, genre, era, or any combination. You don’t need special wording. Just talk to it like you’re asking someone to play music.
For example:
- Chill music for a late-night drive
- New pop for working out
- Songs like Shadmehr, but more upbeat
You can also choose one of the suggested prompts.
Make it personal
You can ask for music based on your own listening:
- Play songs I loved but haven’t heard lately
- New songs from my favorite artists
- Play my most-listened-to songs this month
RJ may also show personalized suggestions based on what you listen to, your favorite artists and genres, and the time of day.
Create an AI Playlist
From the My Music screen, tap Create Playlist → Create an AI Playlist.
This flow gives you more control over the result. You can reorder songs, add more, or remove anything you don’t want.
AI results may not always be perfect. If the music doesn’t match what you had in mind, try rewording your request or adding more detail.
